I spent this weekend working on a new image for my website. I can't wait to give it the great reveal! I hope to do so this week! Yea! How exciting...for me! LOL! I hope you'll like it!
I never really get a "lazy" day, but I do like to think of Sundays as being lazy - No agenda, no school...Oh, wait! That means everyone's home and I have to make breakfast, lunch, and dinner - So much for lazy Sundays.
Do you ever have rough mornings? The type of mornings that make you wonder how quickly you can get the day over with? I find the best remedy is to go outside, take a deep breath, and remember that mornings like those just give up perspective for the better ones.
Today is Friday and people all over the world are saying things like, "Thank God it's Friday!" and "The weekend's finally here!" Friday...the day of the week that marks, for many people, their two-day escape from work.
The weekend brings new life to some, while it means working overtime for others - like mothers! LOL! I think life is too short to live for two days out of seven. I'd like to know what you do for your daily escape? Do you read, talk with friends, go out, have a drink, eat something yumm, watch tv?
I'll be hosting a chat on The Women's Nest about Megan's Way in the upcoming weeks, but I've been invited to chat with members of LibraryThing, and will be doing so from October 1 - October 15.

Poolesville Day is great fun for the entire family! Located in the small town of Poolesville, MD, the day begins with a parade of the local football teams (all ages), cheerleaders, and various local groups. This year's even is larger than ever with 170 vendors including food, arts, crafts, and businesses. OMG, I just realized that I sound like a commercial!
