Something wonderful
There's something wonderful about loving what you do for a living. Getting up every day and looking forward to work makes life fantastic. But then again, even when my jobs weren't fun, I still looked forward to them. Is it just me, or is life just plan fabulous every day?

Screenplay writing
Today I embarked on a new project for Megan's Way; the screenplay! I've researched the process, and I surely am no expert, but while I hunt down a professional screenplay writer to undertake the project, I decided to give it a try.
The process is complex, and calls for a much different writing style than that of a novel. I find myself wanting to draw out the characters and details, and of course, there is no need for minutia in a screenplay. Interesting, and taxing!

I had the good fortune of meeting a local reader today named Stephanie. She is a lovely person with two precious boys. I felt very privileged to have met her through an online reading site, and I look forward to a wonderful friendship with her!
Stephanie, if you're reading my blog, it was great to meet you!

♪♫•*Wishful Wednesday ♪♫•*
I, like many others, are saddened by what has happened in Haiti. When you see the images, please remember that this IS REAL. People are suffering, they have lost all that they've made, bought, grown, prayed for, earned.
I am terming today Wishful Wednesday (for me). I am reminded of stories, recently, where people have knocked others for posting bra colors in hopes of raising Breast Cancer Awareness, where people are mocked for trying to reach out. I have a different opinion.
I believe that giving is caring. Giving of your time, your energy, your emotions.

Getting creative today and writing more of Come Back To Me, a fiction novel. I love creating the characters and am always surprised by the personalities they have when they come to me. One of my characters appears to be asexual. This should be very fun! I can't wait to watch the story unfold!

♪♫•*¨*My love of writing♪♫•*¨*
I am very excited to pass along that this past week I've started writing two new books! One is literary fiction and the other is a teen book that's sort of...otherworldly, or sci-fi perhaps. I didn't think I was going to write during this vacation, but these books came to mind and when it flows, I must follow!
Looking forward to seeing what comes of these new babies!

Hanukkah has past and Christmas is here. The new year is right around the corner. I'd like to say thank you to all of my readers and friends, and to your families. You have provided me such strength and support, and I truly appreciate each of you. You have given me motivation to continue writing and a sense of pride for what I've accomplished. You have made me smile, laugh, and even cry. You've urged to me to pursue dreams that I otherwise might have pushed aside, and for all of this, and for who you are, thank you!
Sneak Peek at The Knowing
The Knowing is my next novel. Here's a sneak peek!
Every parent’s worst nightmare is losing their child.
The Knowing is a paranormal mystery about the disappearance of seven-year-old Tracey Porter. Her disappearance mirrors the abduction of Kate Plumber, which took place twenty years earlier—Kate was never seen again.
What now?
I have decided that finishing a manuscript is like finishing Finals week! I want to lay down and sleep and celebrate both at the same time! And then I'm left feeling like an ADHD child - I can't focus on anything for a few days. After that the addict sets in, and I can't wait to get back to my keyboard.
Today I'm somewhere between the ADHD and the addict.
