Review from Iraq
Recently, I donated a number of copies of Megan's Way to the service members touring in Baghdad. I just popped onto Amazon and read a sweet review from one of the service members. I just thought I'd share:
Baltimore Book Festival
I just received notie that I have officially been accepted to exhibit at the Baltimore Book Festival in September. I'm very excited! I really enjoy attending book festivals--talking with readers and connecting with book clubs--the best part of being an author!
If you'd like to meet me at an event, check out my Events page, or send me an email! I'm currently booking my events for the fall.
Thanks for reading!

The Next Novel!
I'm often asked what my next novel will be. Answering that question is interesting, and sometimes difficult. I have written seven chapters of what I anticipate to be my next novel, Come Back To Me, but I have another story nagging to be written! I am never quite sure if the current story I am working on is going to be my next, or if it will be pushed aside by more aggressive characters who just cannot wait to be heard. Sound silly? Maybe it does sound silly to someone who doesn't write, but to me it is normal.
In The Streets book signing for Megan's Way
I was just invited to do a book signing for Megan's Way at the In The Streets Festival in Frederick, MD, September 11, 12-1:30pm. If you are going to be in the area, please stop by and chat! More info to come!
Manuscript complete!
The manuscript for The Knowing is finally complete; edited, polished, reread five times, and ready to send off! The elation is second only to child birth.
Now comes the finger crossing, neurotic email checking, and second guessing. But it's all good! You can't succeed unless you put yourself out there, and this one is a winner! Bring it on!
Sneak peek:
Great day at the book festival!
I had the pleasure of taking part in the first annual Gaithersburg Book Festival today. It was very well organized, the volunteers were friendly and helpful, and the event was a great success!
I met many interesting men and women, and felt very lucky to have had the opportunity to get to know so many! Events such as this bring together authors and readers, and I feel very blessed to have been part of it.
To any and all who bought a copy of Megan's Way, I hope you enjoy your tote bags and Megan's story. I look forward to hearing from you!
